CONNECTS has been nominated for “Best Digital Project Oriented Toward Sustainability”. We are finalists together with Amadeus and The Predictive Company. The award ceremony is going to be on the 15th of June. Our CEO, Joost Visser, will be at the DES attending the events.

When and where is it happening?
The Digital Enterprise Show takes place in Malaga from the 14th to the 16th of June. There is a big agenda full of interesting events. Experts will talk about blockchain, tokenisation, sustainability, metaverse and much more.

Among the speakers, there is going to be the 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama. “A Conversation with President Barack Obama” will take place on the 14th at 11.30 AM. Only Honour pass tickets can attend this speech. It will be a Q&A on how to inspire business leaders to face economic, social and technological challenges.

Sandra Infante Grillon is the managing director of the Digital Enterprise Show. She joined the team in September 2021.

The European Digital Mindset Awards identify the most valuable and innovative projects in the field of digital transformation. They take into consideration strategy, leadership and customer experience. These are the key elements to succeed in digital transformation.

The finalists are digital start-ups with high impact in a sector based on an innovative and/or disruptive business model. They also have a high projection for the upcoming years.

The award goes to the business that best recognises the work of the public sector on digital transformation issues.

BEST DIGITAL PROJECT ORIENTED TOWARDS SUSTAINABILITY
This award is about sustainability projects, corporate or entrepreneurial, oriented to achieving the SDG’s of the 2030 Agenda.

CONNECTS and sustainability
CONNECTS launched a series of events and a community around the theme of ESG and sustainability.
The ‘ESG for SMEs’ community facilitates the sharing of knowledge, insight, and new business opportunities amongst SMEs and other key stakeholders. It concentrates on the field of Environmental, Social & Governance strategy and reporting.
Regulatory changes are changing the way of doing business. ESG is becoming an increasingly important and urgent dimension in all business activities. SMEs who want to survive and thrive in this new reality have to face significant practical implications.
